European iOS Basketball Gaming Apps Q1 2024 Snapshot

In the first quarter of 2024, basketball gaming apps on the iOS platform saw diverse performance trends across Europe. Sensor Tower provides a deeper insight into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

NBA 2K Mobile Basketball Game from 2K had a steady start in revenue with around $20K in the first week of January but saw a decline to approximately $14K by the end of March. Downloads began at about 16K and decreased slightly over the quarter, stabilizing around 12K. Weekly active users started strong at 40K but dipped to just over 34K by the quarter's end.

The newly released NBA Infinite - PvP Basketball by Level Infinite witnessed a significant initial surge in downloads, starting at 146K in its debut week, but experienced a sharp decline to under 6K by late March. Revenue peaked in the second week at approximately $38K before settling near $20K. Active users hit a high of 193K but gradually decreased to 71K.

2K's other title, NBA 2K24 MyTEAM, which launched at the end of January, showed growing revenue from $4K to over $14K, with downloads peaking at 18K in February and active users reaching nearly 23K by the end of the quarter.

Miniclip.com's Basketball Stars™: Multiplayer earned modest revenues starting at $4K and growing to over $6K. Downloads had a spike in late March, reaching nearly 19K, and weekly active users saw an impressive jump to 66K, up from around 29K at the beginning of the quarter.

Lastly, NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball by Electronic Arts displayed consistent revenue between $2K and $4K, with downloads hovering around 5K to 7K. Weekly active users experienced a slight downtrend from 388K to 308K over the three months.
